South Korea. Gyeongju in southwest Korea has the fastest 5G network in the entire country, with a download speed of 416 megabytes (MBbps) per second.
According to a recent study by Open Signal, 5G speeds in Gyeongju are not only the fastest in South Korea, but in all other markets surveyed. In second place is Hinshu City in Taiwan – where 5G users average 360 Mbps.
The Zurich 5G network has the highest download speed in Europe – analysts average 245 Mbps. Interestingly, only three capitals are mentioned in the top 10 cities: Riyadh, Tokyo and Dublin. The expansion of the 5G network seems to focus more on business centers in most markets, such as Zurich or Barcelona.

Overall, the download speeds of the cities listed here are a bit higher than their respective national averages. It averages 361 Mbps in South Korea, 310 Mbps in Taiwan, 269 Mbps in the United Arab Emirates and 173 Mbps in Switzerland.
