Yes we know, this is not a huge surprise there. Nintendo has been quite shy on infos regarding Super Mario Odyssey since January, promising to release “the Kraken” during this year’s Nintendo Spotlight live event at E3.
And according to Financial Times, sources close to Nintendo confirmed that the next instalment in Mario’s adventures should launch during the Fall season, more precisely this November. While this is not officially confirmed, and probably won’t be until E3, it’s what we’ve all been expecting.
Nintendo has always liked releasing a big title around Black Friday – the fourth Thursday of November, marking the beginning of the Christmas shopping season: Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pokémon Sun & Moon or Super Smash Bros. for Wii U for example. This year, it should be Super Mario Odyssey!
