Disney games might seem childish for some but they’ve always been a whole lotta fun if you’re a fan of the film franchises. And while we’re still waiting for an eventual announcement of Capcom’s Disney Afternoon Collection on the Switch, publisher WB Games launches the promotion of the upcoming Cars 3: Driven to Win, whose release will coincide with Disney Pixar’s film. And guess what, this is also the first game of Avalanche Software (Disney Infinity) since it’s grand reopening back in January.
Without much surprise, Cars 3: Driven to Win is a racing game based on the upcoming Disney Pixar’s film, Cars 3. It will feature 6 game modes (solo and multiplayer), more than 20 tracks set in iconic locations of the film (ex. Radiator Springs), and over 20 customisable characters from it, including Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm. On the technical side, Cars 3: Driven to Win is developed on Avalanche’s Octane engine, already used in Disney Infinity and Toy Story 3. And finally, you can enjoy a first look at some in-game footage in the video below.
Cars 3: Driven to Win is set to release on Nintendo Switch and Wii U on June 13th, same day as the Pixar movie.
