Zelda Breath of the Wild gets a 98 score on Metacritic

Reviews of Zelda Breath of the Wild are up, and they're giving it an almost perfect score!

We’re now a few hours away from the official release of the Nintendo Switch. And along with it will come the game we’ve been waiting for five years now, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. And if a lot of us will take the game in hands for the first time, several gaming websites secured a copy a few days ago to have a review up by… well, today!

The scores are in, and let’s just say that we are in for a treat. Dualshockers, ING, GamesBeat, Giant Bomb, Polygon… they have ALL given the perfect score to the new instalment in the Legend of Zelda franchise. It’s simple, the website Metacritic – which creates an overall review score based on the biggest gaming websites – is proudly showing a score of 98. To compare, in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time score a whopping 99! Breath of the Wild is not ranked along its fellow masterpieces that are Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, Grand Theft Auto IV, SoulCalibur.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is releasing on 3rd march 2017, and we can’t wait!
