A week after the previous version of Tap to Pay was ready for arrival, the third beta version of iOS 15.4 was made available to developers last night. Surprisingly, when installing the update, we discovered that Apple had finally implemented the possibility of installing the update using the 4G cellular network! Until now, it was mandatory to use Wi-Fi network or 5G on compatible devices. This is a measure to prevent unsuspecting people from emptying their data envelopes all at once, but phone plans are now generous enough.
IOS 15.4 therefore promises to be a major interim update, with the possibility of opening Face ID with a mask, adding new emojis, support for the ProMotion feature in all applications on the iPhone 13 Pro, the possibility of adding a vaccine pass for Maps and Health applications, or setting up customized domains for iCloud + Support for adaptation triggers for DualSense controllers from Sony. The release of iOS 15.4 for the general public is expected in early March.
