Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro Test: True Wireless Headphones Found at the Top of the Bill

Xiaomi’s previous headphones didn’t really shine in their sound performance. The builder seems to have learned some lessons from his mistakes; While the results are not yet perfect, there is encouraging improvement at some point.

The Redmi Buds 3 Pro is actually on the right track regarding the reproduction of the first part of the spectrum. Bass hypertrophy leads to surprisingly straight lines, to the extent that we make them a little less shy and “dry”. There can be little more significant reinforcement in extreme depressions to fully experience the feeling of depression, to experience a real seat, and briefly to experience a more “sinking” pass. Whatever it is, the latter is exactly defined. Accuracy at this level is much better than previous models. There again, the treatment assigned to headphones is not exemplary because there is a very long overflow after each stimulus (especially sometimes “soaked” in the success of bass drums), but basically nothing compromises the reading and identity of the various components.

Good balance continues at midrange, about 1 kHz. Unfortunately, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro loses their position beyond this threshold, showing a very significant preference for midrange / hide midrange. The coloring supports the harmonics most obviously, giving the sound very sharp, slamming and sometimes abrasive features already in the harmonics (electric guitar / synthesizers / saturated voices, most current chips …). In this context, voices – like other elements, obviously – have no difficulty coming out: their brilliance is always impeccable. On the other hand, they can sometimes appear “muscle cramps” or nasal. This obvious deficiency is acceptable in low hearing volumes and in specific content, but it quickly imposes a tax on the human ear and requires quietness at regular intervals and regular intervals.

The behavior of headphones has an important effect on the perception of the sound display: the concept of depth is almost non-existent because all the elements are brought forward. In some cases, especially in highly loaded compounds with sources, it is difficult to distinguish exactly between tools. On the other hand, it says nothing about decay management: the Redmi Buds 3 Pro shows white footing across the entire reproduced spectrum.
