The Redmi 10, like the Redmi 9, is based on a four-fold rear photo gallery. The two sensors in question are 2 megapixels each (with f / 2.4 optics), but rather events (macro and depth measurement). We especially remember the maintenance of the Ultra Wide Angle module (8 megapixels, f / 2.2) and switching to the 50 megapixel main sensor with the wide angle f / 1.8. The forward lens is noticeable compared to the Redmi 9 with 13 million point sensor and f / 2.2 optics.
Main volume: 50 megapixels, f / 1.8
The Pixel pinning Definitely works on Redmi 10, so it delivers 12.5 megapixel displays by default. If they are more attractive than the Redmi 9, they are generally not sharp, and you can see their colors pull towards pink. For example, we notice the lack of sharpness of the color palettes of our test system and the slight noise on the black background of our test scene.
The night photo exercise on Redmi 10 was not so badly successful. When there is no light, it wears an orange veil, creating scenes that are not sharp. Among some elements, the smartphone chooses the specified accent, which gives some relief to some elements even though the digital noise is high and the settings are soft. Evidenced by the definitions of the inscriptions on our book cover. Despite facing the Oppo A53, it performs well in daylight and is unmatched in low light. However, to improve the whole thing, it is better to use its exclusive night mode.
50 megapixel mode
By switching to 50 megapixel mode – at the risk of disrupting the smartphone’s memory – we isolated the same part of the image to check if the gain was known in detail. Unfortunately, in the parts below, but on all sides of the picture, we did not feel the real difference. No need to complicate the shooting process.
Ultra wide angle: 8 megapixels, f2.2
Its ultra wide angle does not allow the Redmi 10 to stand out from the crowd. It’s capable of delivering something that is not formal in less than 200 smartphones, but it struggles to impress day and night.
If the center of our scene shows too much cool color and lack of sharpness it should add too much current distortion to the pages of the image, which can be especially problematic when photographing monuments.
Compared to the Redmi 9, night exposure is a little better controlled. The image is too loud to use, but when confronted with the Realme 8 we have to admit that it further softens the details of our display, Xiaomi’s model. Almost saves furniture.
Portrait mode, video, front module
The Redmi 10 is equipped with an 8-megapixel front sensor (f / 2.0 optical) dedicated to selfies. Can’t expect nonsense in this case, the clichs are a little louder. The portrait mode is a little more generous than the artificial bokeh, with no frontal or rear sensor used. As for video, the smartphone allows you to shoot at 1080p at 30 fps, with some slow or accelerated, reduced image quality.
