Although released four years ago, Overwatch Players from different communities are not allowed to participate in the same games. This is a thing of the past now as cross play is implemented.

    Cross play finally came over

Overwatch players will be happy to be able to share the same games now with their friends playing on other platforms. All you have to do is link your console to your Battle.net profile.

Cross-games were enabled for all sports with the exception of competitive games. Competing players are divided into two groups based on the system in which they play: console players on the one hand and PC players on the other. For reserve purposes, PC players and console players will not be mixed into competitive matches in the same game. If you are playing on a computer with a controller, you can not join console games. To play only with people on the same platform, disable cross play.

To celebrate the arrival of the cross game, anyone who signed in to Overwatch at the end of 2021 will receive a Golden Loot Box.

Keep in mind that although cross-play is enabled, progress between different platforms is not all-encompassing.

    Cross-play has arrived.

You can now group with friends around the world on PC, boxxbox, PlayStation And inntintendo.
