Universe Freebox now offers the classic board game for family fun. It is offered for free, complete and suitable for the era of the smartphone.
Finish the lines and cards in front of everyone, during the draw, to win the shout of “Bingo”. Bingo is played with the family at home or between neighbors during village festivals. Thanks to the Bingo at Home app available in the Google Play Store, Freebox Pop and Mini 4K have access to an upgraded version of this board game to play on their TV, paper or smartphone. We invite you to discover the application.
Download Bingo for Home
The Bingo at Home app is available for free on the Play Store on Freebox Pop and Mini 4K. The last update is before July 2019 and the number is 3.3.1.
A perfect interface, but in French
The home screen goes to the basics: Settings button, 90-ball bingo launcher, 75-ball bingo launcher and grid recovery (we’ll come back to this later).
When you start your games, you can determine the number of points to win.
With the big play / pass button above the prints can follow each other or control the speed of the prints.
For more life in the game, you can go to the voice download systems or download the female voice in our case.
It is possible to automate prints and determine the rate (in seconds) but configure the distribution of points.
When leaving the game, “Zoo Sorty”, instead of “General”, will be replaced by “Viox” or “Edit Balls” instead of Edit Balls. If the Bingo at Home interface is in French, translations can be further improved. As stated at the beginning of the article, the last update of the application is over 2 years. So it is better not to expect much of the best from that side.
Paper grids
But before you start a game, you need to distribute the grids to the participants. The process is explained by going through the stages.
The online generator will allow you to retrieve its lines by specifying the number of balls, the color of your boxes and the number of boxes you want. If the page is not in French, the process is intuitive enough to allow for minor language barriers. In the worst case, a paragraph is possible in Google Translate.
To download and print, the grids will be provided to you in PDF file format.
Or digital
If you are modern and eco-friendly, you can also access digital boxes on a smartphone or tablet. All you have to do is search for the Bingo Grits app in the Play Store.
From there, you can create your own grids, which will be randomly assigned to you or selected from the ones provided.
Once the boxes are distributed, just tap the different boxes to activate the draw.
No intrusive ads
One thing to note is that we are talking about a free app and have done better: we do not fall under the avalanche of ads in image or video format. A good thing.
Judgment
In the beginning we were free from scary ads, easy to learn, up-to-date with digital technology and complete in terms of experience, the Bingo for Home application is worth a try. Probably sorry: the translations are correct, but not fine.
