As part of Connect Day for October 2021 Microsoft today will be distributing various security updates for Windows, Office and Company. It starts with the Windows tool for removing malicious software, the update for version 5.94 is already available from Microsoft, and will then be offered via Windows Update and Microsoft Update. Windows malicious software removal tool protects PCs from widespread malware, detects and removes threats, and reverses changes made by those threats. It is offered quarterly through Windows Update and is released as a standalone tool. The update with version number 5.94 was released on October 12, 2021 and can be downloaded on PCs with Windows 7 SP1, 8, 8.1, 10.
