What is the Elton Ring Randomizer? Different types and how to download

The Elton Ring is certainly not lacking in content. It has a vast map, with hours and hours of battles to engage in; But for players who are constantly involved in it, some things can be guessed a little. Don’t be afraid though, because the modding community is on your back and has introduced a randomizer for the Elton Ring!

Randomizer is a mod in LukeYui’s Nexusmods that allows you to randomize game settings, as well as create lotteries for items derived from common inventions such as enemy encounters and chests. It randomizes 2886 enemy items (loot tables) and 4039 map items, giving you a whole new experience when you play the game again.

A word of warning: this mod has not yet been officially released and is still in beta mode. If you experience any issues with the software lock while playing, please contact the mod creator.

You can use Randomizer Mode in different ways.

• The first is to randomly loot enemies throughout the game because you do not know what you will collect after defeating enemies and bosses. This will randomize your dropped items as a player.
• The second way is to change the game settings randomly so that the game conditions change unexpectedly. This applies to things like weather and projectiles. One minute the sky will be clear and the next minute you can repel the projectiles in the pouring rain.
• The third way is to use its automation device feature. Using this, it will automatically equip the items you just picked up and assign them to the perfect matching slot. This saves you from having to do it manually, but also makes your item more random.

How to Install the Elton Ring Randomizer

What you need to know and do to install and run Randomizer here:

• Go to LukeYui’s Nexusmods page
• Click the Files tab above
• Click Manual Download and download the file (it will most likely go to your downloads folder)
• Once downloaded, place the files you received in your Elton Ring Game folder. The tree for locating this folder might look like this: C: / Program Files / Steam / Steamapps / Common / ELDENRING / Gam
  • Note: If your game is stored on a separate drive, you need to figure out where to put it, other than your C drive.
• If you want to start the game, use the launch_elden_ring_item_randomiser.exe launcher in your game folder

When using this modem, keep in mind that you must use it offline. It can bypass the anti-cheat software encoded in the game by the software. If you try to run it online, you will be blocked as it is considered a cheat attempt while playing the game.

The mod will automatically generate a separate game file so that your original game progression is not accidentally merged with the random game version of the mod. This means that with all your random content your savings will not be uploaded to FromSoftware’s servers.

The file suffix for your storage will be .rd2 instead of .sl2, so you can tell the difference between your original play and your shuffle blake.

Finally, if you want to roll the seed again (such as randomizing your game again), delete the randomiser_seed.txt file in the item randomizer folder and you will receive new random items as you begin your next session. .
