Boat fishing
In recent years, boat fishing has been democratized at the same time as the development of lure fishing and so-called “nogil” fishing. Fishing courses and competitions

The next dates are planned for the spring holidays: two trout fishing courses on Lake Montad on April 28th and 29th and May 4th and 5th. Fishing will still be on Wednesdays from May 11 to June 29 and Saturday mornings and afternoys from May 14 to July 2.
Finally, this year you will be offered a great hunting fishing competition on a float-tube accessible from the age of 12. Four rounds are planned: June 12 at Messells Lake in Vyrak, June 25 at Lot in Cahors, September 17 at Lot in Castellfranc and October 22 at Dollarm Lake. Each participant is assigned a prize, each stage is marked with a stage, the winner of F’LOT CUP 46 wins a fishing trip to Ireland, and many more prizes are planned thanks to our dedication. Specific paths

Glamorous trout
Saturday 30th, it’s the hunter’s opening, but it’s the glamorous trout’s opening in the 2nd division. Trout fishing is open in the 1st and 2nd categories from March 12, but before the opening of the predatory fish, the catch in the 2nd category is prohibited! So many anglers are waiting until April 30th to catch big trout by lure or minnows handled in the 2nd major river.
One of the specialties of the department is the very long line of type 2 rivers, where the trout are well represented: down from Brookles Dam to Cère, down from Figeac to Célé, down to Ouysse and of course Dordogne.
Terms: Avon-Cart Lot
In the parking lot, since January 2020, for bike races, the traditional “legal grip size” dual loop, capture window has evolved. In fact, since then, fishermen can only hold individuals between 60 and 80 cm. Those below 60 cm and those above 80 cm should return to the water immediately.
“The purpose of this innovative regulation is to effectively protect the northern bike, which proves to be the best breeders,” explains Patrice Jabert, director of the federation. This new measure recognizes the fair harvest of species by improving the presence of the most preferred model bike in search of cup fish by sports fishermen.
To measure the effectiveness of this measure, the Federation invites fishermen to collect data, especially through their catchment concept (basket survey). So there is a record book for all fishermen.
Paper notebooks are available from consortiums or fishing prevention retailers. The notebook can be downloaded from the Federation website (download section). As a thank you and encouragement to the fishermen involved in these statistical capture studies, everyone who returns to fishing at the end of the season is provided with a measuring rod (flexible plastic ruler).
