Upspell: IKEA sells gaming furniture with Asia

Furniture store chain IKEA is expanding its own gaming range this year. Together with hardware manufacturer Asus, the Upsbell Collection was created under the brand name of the Republic of Commerce (ROG), which includes cheaper branches such as Hoodspelar, Utespeare, MatchSpell, Grospell and Lenespeare. In the future, IKEA will sell at least one desk and matching chairs in all collections.

At the heart of the Upspell arrangement is an electric height adjustable table with a depth of 80 cm and a width of 180 cm. The control panel can be set at heights of 72 to 120 cm, including four pre-defined profiles. For a change, users can work at their desks.

So far, IKEA has only sold its gaming furniture in China. The Upsbell desk there is the equivalent of about 515 euros, which is one of its cheapest representatives with power height adjustment. If you do not like the plastic plate, you can order the frame by motor and mount your own plate.

In a bundle, the IKEA is paired with an upscale desk with a black and red matching office chair that looks slimmer than traditional gaming chairs with a mesh backrest. However, IKEA does not appear to incorporate a post-friendly synchronization mechanism.

Other product ranges include wall brackets with ROG logos for attaching devices – i.e. headset, a controller, charging cable or replacement keyboard -, drawer trolleys and cup holders that can be attached to the desk.
