UPSC All candidates must report at least one hour before the examination. Entrance will be closed 15 minutes before the exam. Preliminary examination will be held in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Prayagaraj, Shillong, Shimla and Thiruvananthapuram.

UPSC CGS 2020-21 Prelims Paper 1 Proposed Deadline

According to the UPSC CGS 2020-21 Paper 1 timetable, the exam will start at 9:30 am and end at 11:30 am. All candidates must report sharply to the examination center by 8 p.m. Officers check the authenticity of the Admit Card at 08:00 am. Those who find the admit cards genuine will be allowed to register themselves as per the guidelines. Entrance inside the lab will start from 8.00. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination center after 9:45 am. Password notification will be made at 9:20 am. Candidates can open the secure browser and read the instructions from 9:20 am to 9:30 am.

UPSC CGS 2020-21 Prelims Paper 2 Exam Schedule

UPSC CGS 2020-21 Paper 2 will start at 2.00 pm and end at 4 pm. Candidates should lodge a complaint by 12.30 pm. Testing of Admit Cards will start from 12.30 pm. Candidates can then register themselves in the laboratory as per the instructions. Entrance will close at 1.15pm. No candidate will be allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates will open the secure browser and read the instructions from 1.50 pm to 2 pm.

The selection process involves three consecutive stages. I.e. Prelims, Mains and Personality / Interview Round. Prelims with two documents to select candidates for the UPSC CGS 2020-21 Integrated Geo-Scientist (Primary) Examination. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will be calculated to determine the final qualification.

UPSC CGS Prelims 2020-21 Exam Schedule

Those who pass the computer-based preliminary examination will be allowed to take the Integrated Geologist (Primary) examination. The primary examination will be held on July 17 and 18, 2021 in Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and Shimla. The Geological Survey of India and the Central Groundwater Board are pushing for the recruitment of 40 vacancies in the Ministry of Water Resources.
