    Up to Potsdam: Berlin Expressway to be extended to Brandenburg – Berlin

    According to the plans of several municipalities, the expressway in Berlin is to be extended to Brandenburg in the southwest.

    As a first step, three suitable routes have been identified: Werder (Havel) – Botsdam, Botsdam – Deltov and Botsdam – Berlin – Vance, Brandenburg’s state capital Botsdam announced on Sunday.

    The project is managed by the Berlin Senate Department of Environment, Transport and Climate Protection and in collaboration with the municipalities of Schlovsky, Newtale, Stanstorf Kleinmakno, Werder (Howell), Deltov and Steklitz-Zelendorf.

    It was pushed by the Botswana-Mittalmark district.

    Citizens can participate in projects. Anyone interested can find out about route suggestions online and comment on them.     Participation will be open from September 8 to 29 www.potsdam-mittelmark.de Available online. In addition, there will be a live broadcast on September 22 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to provide interim results and answer questions of a potential study.

    Following the participation process, feedback is evaluated and coordinated with project partners. The project is expected to be completed by December. (Dpa)
