Apple has made TVOS 14.5 available to all developers in beta from tonight. This new test version of TVOS 14.4 opens a new beta cycle after it was recently released to all users. Updates for TvOS generally do not include any significant changes or new features.
Tonight, Apple released the first beta of TVOS 14.5 to all registered developers. TVOS 14.5 Beta 1 will be distributed to all users and developers within a few days of the release of TVOS 14.4. The update can now be downloaded and installed by all developers on their devices. If the Apple TV is set up accordingly, the update will be installed automatically.
tvOS 14.5 brings other common improvements and bug fixes
With the update of TVOS Apple will often not introduce significant changes or additions outside of the major flagship versions of TVOS. Updates will only improve the overall stability, security and performance of tvOS.
The TVOS 14.5 update will be released for fourth and fifth generation Apple TVs, the first beta of an upcoming update.
tvOS has also been the basis of home bot software for some time.
