This is how Office 2021 can be completely removed from the system

Here’s how to completely remove and reinstall Office 2021, as there are always problems uninstalling Office via Control Panel and users still have to hand it over. The steps to uninstall Office 2021 depend on the type of installation. Since Microsoft does not offer the Office 2021 client application as a click-to-run version or MSI sorting system, all that is left is the Microsoft Store application that provides click-to-run and Office. To verify the installation type, the Office application should open: Create a new file or open an existing file and select File> Account. The info button is located on the right hand side here. Find the following information: Click-to-run installations include version number, build number and click-to-run report. I have included an example here. The Microsoft Store application contains the version and build number and the Microsoft Store. If you have a click-to-run or MSI installation, you may need to uninstall Office from the Control Panel or download the Uninstall Support Tool. If you have Microsoft Store Processor installed from Office, you must uninstall Office via Start> Settings in the Windows 10 Start menu.

• Select Start> Settings> Applications.
• Under Applications and Features, select the version of Office that you want to uninstall. Office 2021 can be removed manually via the Control Panel

Follow the steps below to see if you can uninstall Office using the Windows Control Panel. In Windows 10, right-click the Start button and select Control Panel. To access the Control Panel, you have to press the Windows key and X and select Control Panel. Right-click your office product and click Uninstall. If you purchased Microsoft 365 or Office Home and Student 2021, see the package name. If you bought an app like Word 2021, look for the app. Then right-click on your product and click Uninstall.
