Electronic Arts is testing a new feature called Preview Packages in FIFA 21’s “Ultimate Team” mode. As the name implies, you can anticipate that there will be a loot box you want to buy.
Preview packages from July 16th
However, this is only a temporary measure launched as part of the “FUTball Festival” campaign. Provisional results will be announced on July 16, 2021. Preview packs are the only type of pack available in the FUT store during advertising. Other pack types will return at the end of the campaign.
“For the rest of the FUTball Festival, all FUT packs available for purchase in the FUT store will be preview packs. Although you may be familiar with the package names, they work differently than the packs you’ve heard of before. Said Electronic Arts.
Packages not received directly from the FUT store, including rewards from category competitors or packages earned through specific objectives and SBCs, are not preview packages and will continue to operate as before.
