Various manufacturers have already announced new notebooks with Windows 11. Microsoft cannot stand behind it. With the launch of the new operating system, there are also new surface devices.
The Surface 8 Pro tablet, which can also be used for a notebook with a custom keyboard cover, grows to 12.3 to 13 inches compared to its predecessors and does not provide much computing power with its eleventh generation Intel Core i processors. According to Microsoft, it also has a battery life of 16 hours – an hour longer than the Surface 7 Pro.

The Surface 8 Pro’s almost infinite touch display can recreate high-contrast images (Dolby Vision). The second new Surface device with Windows 11 is the Surface Go 3. Tablet, which is positioned as a daily and learning device that can be converted to a notebook with a keyboard cover, retains its 10.5-inch shape, but features the newer Intel processors (Pentium Gold or Core-i3) and WiFi 6.
There’s also an update to Microsoft’s folding smartphone, in which the two displays are connected to each other by a 360-degree hinge and run on Android – but with its own Windows interface and many Microsoft apps from Outlook to Office.

With the Surface Duo 2, the two shots each grow slightly from 5.4 to 5.6 inches, resulting in a diagonal of 8.3 inches. Thanks to the Snapdragon 888 processor, the smartphone is now 5G capable. If the ancestor still needs photos and videos with one camera, the new Dual comes with a three camera system.
For example, in twins, two different processors can be used next to each other or in a tablet-like manner over the entire area of a visual application. The Surface Duo 2 will be available on October 21 for 1600 euros (eight gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage).
The Surface Pro 8 is available from October 28 for 1180 euros. The matching new keyboard cover (Surface Pro signature keyboard) costs an additional 180 euros. If you buy a new input pen (surface slim pen 2) for 130 euros, you can charge it in the keyboard case.
Surface Go 3 launches on October 5 like the new Windows 11 and is priced at 40 440. A matching keyboard cover (type cover) costs 100 euros. Surface Co3 is available with LTE, but only later.
