The creators of the RPG series will be interested in a new area

Game designer Yoshitaka Murayama is known as the creator of the “Sukodan” series, which, with its large number of characters, holds a completely unique place in Japanese roll-flaming games. However, Konami has not released another part of the series since 2012, which is why Murayama is currently working on “Iuden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes”, which is expected to be the spiritual successor to the “Suyokotan” games.

Murayama will welcome a new game

In a recent interview with Nintendo Everything, Murayama again spoke about the “Sukotan” series and his further interests. So he said:

“Suyokotan is a game, I think I’m very lucky to have been able to work with it. I will always love the series, but it’s not really something I own or control, Iuden can be 100 percent my thing. However, if this opportunity arises in the future, I will work on another Sukotan game. I’ll be on the moon for as long as I can.

Last year, he successfully completed a kickstarter campaign for the “Euden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes.” Players are about to get the classic Japano RPG with exploration, high-definition 2.5D graphics, pixel-based characters, 100 unique heroes and a story about war and friendship. You can build your own castle and use a guild system to change properties. In addition, at the party you will experience battles based on the turn of up to six heroes, with dynamic boss fights with different camera angles.
