The Chinese premiere of the Monster Hunter movie is said to have been canceled due to racist comedy

The film’s Chinese premiere is said to have been canceled due to a scene in which the rhyme reads “Chinese, Japanese, Dirty Knees – Look at These” – a rhyme that is considered offensive by many in Asia.

Launched in China on December 3, the film will be edited to remove the offensive dialogue. However, the buzz has negatively affected the film’s position in the country, which is its biggest market.

Fall like this Monster Hunter: World It has received more than 1,000 negative reviews about Steam, and Capcom has released a statement which, while aware of the controversy, makes it clear that it is not involved in the production of the film.
