Swiss PC1 Review: Cheap and efficient battery-powered external camera

The PC1 is equipped with a 2MPX sensor that allows you to shoot up to 1080p. A definition is found in the name – oh very misleading – within the application Ultra HD. This is known as the “standard” definition of 720p (Hi-Def) and 768 x 432 pixels, and also has color profiles that increase or decrease color saturation. Finally, LED projectors can be chosen to run with night vision, then available in color, or be satisfied with classic night vision, black and white.

Comparison of different image definitions available – high, left, low, right – day and night.

Faced with the best model from our guide to battery cameras, vizArlo Pro 3, BC1 is mostly. Our cameras show a slightly higher level of detail in the ESW, despite her tendency to over-expose the limitations of her camera, even though she has to deal with a slightly lower definition. We see 2K in Arlow, but its model stands out by managing its brightness. Our experimental footage appears to be exaggerated in its images, although they do not acquire readability in dark areas.

Infrared view, on the other hand, allows the higher definition of the Arlo Pro 3 to provide a slightly more detailed image. Nevertheless, PC1 manages to bring out more elements in dark areas. In short, it does not slow down, and one can hope to be able to identify the intruder from 3 meters, or even a little more. Another good thing is that it only takes 3 seconds to switch from day mode to night mode. Motion detection, on the other hand, can be very effective in slightly capricious and lateral movements, which were detected up to about 6 meters during our experiments in the dark.

Eisvis PC1 also provides color night vision when its LED projectors are activated. A function provided by Arlo Pro 3, which made it difficult to manage the overflow of light and burned the center of our test scene. The Eviswis model reaffirms the excellent management of brightness by providing a well-exposed image despite the power of its projectors. Also keep in mind that this force can be adjusted. Pushed to the maximum for this capture, its projectors can easily flash up to ten meters.
