For nearly two years, swimmers had to modify the openings and closures imposed by the renovation of the Union swimming pool. In recent weeks, they have been able to find this new center on the borders of Pui de Sanci and the Pyrenees. It is open to the public during the summer weeks. On other days of the year, the indoor pool is open to the public and to school students from the Union or surrounding cities. It welcomes children or adults to swimming or fisheries lessons.
In September, the division will resume its traditional operations. Classes will reopen for the 2021-2022 season. Registration for the swimming school will begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 4. Those interested can download the registration form from the city’s website or go to the reception at the Maison des Games and collect it. These files, once completed, must be returned by email or left at the reception of the Mason des Games.
Every visitor can benefit not only from the refurbished basin, but also from the new and remodeled new changing rooms: the building previously stretched over 900 against 1600m². This expansion helps to accommodate more students, increasing the potential cycles between each curriculum.
