Spotify now lets you download songs to your Apple Watch

Until recently, Apple Watch users could only stream their favorite songs, podcasts and playlists on their Apple watches. From May 21, they will be able to download and listen to their favorite songs and podcasts using the device.

Spotify has announced that Apple Watch will release the ability to download playlists, podcasts and albums. This feature allows users to access their favorite audio content even when their smartphones are off.

“All users are already able to play songs, albums, playlists and podcasts,” Spotify wrote in a statement, “Premium users can now download everything they ask for for a real offline and phone-free experience.

Users will need the Spotify Premium account for the Apple Watch Series 3 or later with WatchOS 6.0 or later and the latest version of the Spotify app to use this service. Apple has announced the launch of this feature on its watch, which will be available to users worldwide in the coming weeks.

Here’s how to download and listen to music from Spotify on the Apple Watch:

Step 1: Find the music or podcast you want to download on your Apple Watch.

Step 2: Select playlists, albums or podcasts and tap the three dots to select the “Download to Apple Watch” option.

Step 3: To check the progress, go to the downloads area in Apple Watch.

Step 4: Once you have downloaded playlists, albums or podcasts to your library, you will see a small green arrow next to their names.
