The PlayStation Blog is dropping the list of the most downloaded games from the previous month on the PlayStation Blog. Usually, you can see which new hot game was popular or on sale, but it is interesting to see what your fellow gamers consider worthy of their money.
We have maps showing popularity in the US / Canada and EU territories, but the geographical divide does not reflect much of the taste divide even when it comes to FIFA. The platform data is also broken, so I will start with the PS5 first. U.S. , We begin Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morals, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Demons Souls and Watchdogs: Legion ends the list.
The PS4 results are pretty much the same. This time, starting with the EU, Call of Duty: Black Ops tops the Cold War, followed by FIFA 21, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morals and Grand Theft Auto V. It’s a permanent bestseller, and will continue to do so whenever the next gen release of GTA V occurs.
For the US / Canada, the number 1 downloaded game is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Marvel Spider-Man: Miles Morals, Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 are the fifth most downloaded game. As you can see, we can be separated by consoles and a sea, but our purchase reveals that there is not much difference between us. Maybe, there’s a lesson somewhere here. Perhaps, this is a coincidence.

Jason became addicted to video games after receiving NES at an early age. This addiction grew to include PC gaming and was confirmed with the introduction of the PS2. Since then, he has suffered from epic RPGs, tense snipers and deep strategic games, never becoming talented, but never leaving. He plays constantly (badly) and shares his interest in them with anyone who wants to hear.
