A network is still under development
This is the tenth throw Satellites Starling 2021, and 26th throw overall. 1,300 satellites are now in low orbit to provide the network. At the end of April, SpaceX received approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to send 2.814
Satellites At 540 km approach, more in orbit much lower than before.
This will allow Starling engineers to fix the network sluggishness, which has become very common since beta launch. Overall performance should increase and improve over time. Despite the difficulties, Elon Musk said Twitter Can process all 500,000 orders.
In further development, Starling is making it possible to get an internet connection from space due to a satellite dish that sold for $ 499. The subscription costs $ 99 per month.
