This is the main advantage of this tablet. With a 14.6-inch panel, AMOLED and 1848 x 2960 pixels, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra thinks bigger and bigger. Its 240 dpi resolution is sufficient and, of course, it is compatible with the S Pen stylus. Its refresh rate varies, going up to 120 Hz.

This screen turned out to be generally believable. It has a maximum scale of 615 cd / m², which is comparable to ours (far behind the score of smartphones), and is suitable for indoor use as dictated by its design. Enough to compensate for the high reflection measured as 50.4%. This screen can reduce the brightness to 1.7 cd / m² to protect the eyes during night use.

Such a large display, which is useful for viewing videos, photo editing or drawing, requires impeccable color measurement. This is not really the case when the screen is not calibrated. By default, it chooses the “clear” display mode, resulting in saturated colors, especially red. Delta E is affected, then it is 6.5, while the color temperature, slightly cooler, reaches 7115 K. The choice of “natural” display mode brings significant gains: Delta E is then at 3.6. More contained slides. The color temperature (6680 K) then fluctuates with the video standard (6500 K), and the display is very pleasing to the eye. Let us add that the tactile delay of this screen is limited to 55 ms and it has no stability. Its variation is hilarious with infinity, Old compels.

The large screen of the Tape S8 Ultra has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The most practical format for office automation is to have two pages displayed side by side in a format large enough to be read. Black bars appear around videos on YouTube or Netflix, but not particularly annoying. On the other hand, some will regret the re-emergence of the extreme that Samsung has removed from its smartphones to accommodate two photo sensors on this tablet.
