Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Trial: Total Success on Android

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Trial: Total Success on Android

The Galaxy Tab S8 is fitted with an 11-inch LCD panel that displays at 1600 x 2560 pixels and occupies approximately 84% of the front face. You can choose between dynamic refresh mode that oscillates from 60 Hz to 120 Hz or stick to 60 Hz to save battery.

As with the previous model, Samsung has decided to assign Oled to its tape stamped “+”. However, this choice offers a good deal of autonomy (see below) and this LCD screen is much better developed. The peak brightness reaches 537 cd / m², which makes it easily readable even in bright places. This value drops to a minimum of 6.3 cd / m², which is higher than average, but does not hurt the eyes in the dark. The response is 47.9%, which is a little higher. Apple is standard on the shelves, though there are some rare exceptions.

The contrast ratio is 1364: 1, the tactile delay is 62 ms and the backlight time is about 17 ms.

Outside the box, the panel shows the color temperatures of Delta E 3 and 7135 Kelvin. So the set looks a little cool. Going through the “natural” mode, the Delta E 2.1 and 6900 K temperatures can detect values close to the video standard (6500 K). We notice small slides in blue and green – they reach Delta E 5.5 and 4.7, respectively. Other colors are below the value of 3, which is the range of slides perceptible to the human eye. The Galaxy Tab S8 still captures the fifth star on the wire and is so sweet to use on a daily basis.
