Saint-Pierre-des-Champs: A sign for climbers

For nearly four years, the La Cliff des Champs Association’s Routes team has been helping people discover and appreciate the municipal area with hiking trails.

Three loops were created, marked, and cleaned : Usually, through the website of the municipality and the tourist country Corbières Minervois in advance, we often meet pedestrians who receive information.

Currently, due to the generosity of the individual, municipal employees have installed a window facility and information board near the town hall. The car is better placed between the parking lot and the starting point of the loops, which gives pedestrian lanes (one of which is created), their distance, their theoretical duration, their difficulty and, thanks to QR codes, access to information. Have to hike : Road description and description with significant dots and download path in different formats (gpx, kml, gdb) if desired. This collaborative effort, led by Trail Team Manager Bruno Barido and led by Francis Lacoste and Christian Bale, combined their technical and information technology knowledge to make the information team practical, effective and complete.
