The first Ryzen 7 5800X3D independent review is live. It has been tested in gaming and compared to Intel’s Core i9-12900KF.

Xanxogaming Finally the Ryzen 7 has released the full range of definitions around the 5800X3D. This compares with Intel’s latest Core i9-12900KF. In both cases, the operating system is rated at 3200 MHz (4 x 8 GB) with GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and 32 GB DDR4 CL14. The selected operating system is Windows 10 21H2. A total of 11 different games and 720p and 1080p definitions were used.

To get the point, both processors are sometimes equal in 1080p. The difference decreases from 1 to 3 FPS, which is very low. On the other hand, among AMD leading titles, the difference is greater ”(+10 FPS or higher). In some games, such as The Witcher 3 and Final Fantasy XV, this discrepancy can reach 40 to 50 frames per second. Note that results with the Core i9-12900KF must be upgraded under one platform using DDR5.

When it comes to 720p tests, AMD dominates with the exception of Strange Brigade. 3D V-Cache technology is especially useful at low frame rates (less than 1%). AMD is ahead of Intel in this aspect. The difference is 10 FPS to 30 FPS or in some cases even higher.
