RTX3000 and RX6000: GeForce and Radeon availability is poor

While many buyers are still waiting for the “Gaming Ampere” and “Big Navi” offers, the online retailer offers Proshop Clear insight into the delivery status and availability of GeForce RTX 3090, 3080, 3070 and 3060D from Nvidia and Radeon RX6900XD, RX6800XD and RX6800 from AMD.

Gaming Amps and Big Navi are in short supply

So far, Proshop has not received any graphics cards of this model from wholesalers. This results in open customer orders going into October 29, 2020.

The availability of the Asus GeForce RTX3080 DUF Gaming and the Asus GeForce RTX 3080 DUF Gaming OC (tested) is even worse: there are over 1,500 open orders for these two models alone, The oldest is 17th and 18th September 2020.

As for the Radeon RX6000 series, the XFX Radeon RX6800X Speedster Merck 319 is about 150 behind, currently out of 185 graphics cards ordered from wholesalers, not even a single seller currently buys.

The dealer did not find the 3,200 GeForce RTX 3080

The situation is quite dramatic with the GeForce RTX 3080 (tested), where the dealer is lagging behind with about 3,200 pieces and can only deliver 5.6 percent of incoming orders.

Although the status of the Radeon RX6900XD (tested) and Radeon RX6800XD and RX6800 (tested) is less dramatic in terms of numbers, it does not seem to be much better in percentage terms with the “Big Navi”.

Many models have not yet been delivered from wholesalers to retailers due to unavailability. Requirement for the Proshop RX 6900 can only be met once the wholesaler has delivered 73 graphics cards.

Out of a total of 5,339 open orders, the retailer can only provide service with 836 or 16 per cent equivalent with graphics cards, wholesalers will be provided as planned.
