Ubisoft yesterday announced the dates for the announced closed beta of the Roller Champions, a team-based free-to-play game that includes skating, passing, dodging and scoring in packed arenas. The game will be released in 2021 and can already apply in Europe to participate in the closed beta phase, which will take place from February 17 from 6pm to March 1 from 10pm. Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Ubisoft Connect for closed beta PC, and supports cross-play matchmaking.
Roller Champions is a new sport that offers exciting and fast team moments on roller skates, and was developed by Ubisoft Montreal in conjunction with Ubisoft’s Winnipeg and Ubisoft Pune. Two teams of three players compete against each other in the arena. They rejoice as they fight for possessions, send it to their teammates, and at some point throw enemies through the glowing baskets in the arena.
Based on feedback from Closed Alpha, the Roller Champions development team has added a lot of new content to the closed beta: new modes including ranking mode, custom matches and time-limited game modes such as 2v2 mode. Other innovations include various game upgrades, new solo and team maneuvers and a skate park: a permanent community center where up to 6 players can train, participate in mini-games for a limited time and have fun with their team members.
To discover this new content, interested parties can now sign up for the closed beta: https://www.rollerchaavlja.com/Register
Anyone who has already participated in the closed alpha has the opportunity to participate in the closed beta as it is automatically registered.
