Risk of explosion after a liquid gas leak at a Chinese restaurant in March

A dangerous situation with a liquid gas leak occurred in the courtyard of a restaurant on Thursday afternoon in March Trunk (Wells-Land District). Fire brigade, energy supply companies and police were on duty.

In the yard of a Chinese restaurant, there was a gas leak from the liquefied gas system.
“On May 20, 2021, a company was testing a major natural gas supply line. They found in a hotel that the concentration of liquefied gas was too high. , All emergency services such as the police and officers in charge were alerted and the inn was immediately evacuated, ”police said.
Technicians from the energy supply company and the fire brigade were on duty at the time. The smell of gas was clearly visible. The area affected by the explosion was immediately cordoned off. The fire brigade ensured fire safety. The technicians were able to stop the exit and the restaurant’s facility was officially blocked – i.e. by the fire police – due to the danger delay.
“The system is currently officially sealed and may be reactivated only after it has been checked and repaired by a specialized agency. No injuries were reported due to the rapid intervention of the emergency services. The cause is not known to be a technical defect,” police continued.
Once the danger is avoided, the lock can be lifted.
