After passing our test bench RF 24-240 mm F 4-6.3 ISMM, we indicate the most average performance in terms of the sense of sharpness. If the 24 and 90 mm measurements are relatively good, the quality decreases as we zoom in, as shown in the 175 and 240 mm measurements.
Maximum aperture f / 6.3 105 mm. In comparison, this value is 80 mm in magnification. Nikon Z 24-200mm f / 4-6,3 VR, For a slightly smaller focal range.
Do not cover the diaphragm too much
If we go into a little more detail, the maximum hole here provides a level of sharpness that is already satisfactory, requiring closure in contrast to other purposes. Closing with a stop (IL) allows for a bit of stability though. On the other hand, it is better to avoid using values higher than F / 8 (small openings), at the risk of overstating the quality. This effect is verified as one zooms in.
