We may not have a Mario Cafe Here it is in Orlando, but you can still get some Super Nintendo flavor At the Universal Orlando Resort with the new Super Mario Birthday Cake Batter Bash. Cold Stone Creamery, located on Citywalk, is now offering a shake and Sunday theme to Super Mario. It was a hot day and we were jealous of our friends in Japan, so we decided to grab a Sunday and equalize our day. Let’s-A Go!
This is me, Mario! The ice cream is served in a small cup finished with Mario and Yoshi.
As with all Cold Stone Creamery creations, a team member must skillfully mix all the ingredients in front of you. This Sunday cake combines better ice cream, yellow cake, blue frosting and sprinkles. Although this sign promotes Star Sprinkles, these are only your standard rainbow sprinkles.
We did our best to photograph this treat, but it did not match the heat.
It’s very similar to the Birthday Cake Remix Signature Creation, the fudge for the brown cake changing and frosting. The frosting is not as heavy or sweet as we expected, and has a whipped frost flavor. The soft components of yellow cake and creamy blue frosting work well with cake flour ice cream. If you are a fan of birthday cake delicious desserts, this is the winner. Truth be told, we will be ordering this again for the beautiful cup.
The behind-the-scenes action here for you is a little behind.
Although this is a good treat to serve from Schwab’s Pharmacy, we can find Super Nintendo’s solution anywhere. Next time you visit Citywalk at Universal Orlando, stop by Cold Stone Creamery and give it a try. If you’re excited for Super Nintendo World, don’t forget Watch our video from the new Mario Cafe and store opening Universal Studios in Japan!
