New feature for recharging PokéStops Pokemon GO Became Announced. Niantic has announced a brand new feature that allows you to top up PokéStops. It uses AR mapping functions introduced last year. “For coaches around the world, this is a new AR experience,” says Niantic. Complete as many AR mapping tasks as possible by scanning real locations with the smart device. Below we explain how to do it:

You can charge specific PokéStops and Arenas for a specific period of time by completing AR mapping tasks. Charged PokéStops are shown differently on the map. When turning these PokéStops, all practitioners will get more stuff. The more practitioners (Level 20 and above) do PokéStop’s AR scans, the longer it will charge, and the more products you will receive. There are three different look levels on these charged boxstops. The level increases as more practitioners scan the PokéStop.

Several scans are required for the respective levels:

    • Level 1: 5 scans
    • Level 2: 10 scans
    • Level 3: 25 scans

You can scan a PokéStop or arena by opening the details page and tapping the three dots in the upper right corner. AR Mapping Tasks Level 20 is only available to trainers.

    1. Tap Scan the boxstop.
    2. When using the scan feature for the first time, enable it through the on-screen instructions.
    3. Tap the Register button to scan. Slowly move the object around and make sure it is within the frame shown.
    4. Tap Then upload Or Upload nowUpload your scans.

The PokéStop scan feature is not new. We reported about this in May 2020, and trainers from level 20 onwards can do this from September of the same year Feature for PokéStop scans To implement. Now the standards and item rewards are being followed!
