New Delhi:
More than 17 lakh candidates are expected to sit for the post of constable in the Rajasthan Police on November 6, 7 and 8. Rajasthan Police approval cards have been issued. Those who have registered for the exam can download the Admit Card from the official website.
Selection will be held to fill 5,438 vacancies in the post of Constable.
In September, when the poll date was announced, Rajasthan Police DGP Bhupendra Singh said more than 17 lakh people had registered for the exam.
In his message to the candidates appearing for the exam, Mr Singh congratulated them and asked them to stay safe.
He told a news conference that the selection would be done following all precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection. “Details will be uploaded on the website soon,” Mr Singh said.
Candidates for the post of Constable will be selected on the basis of written test and physical fitness test. The written test contains 75% of the total weightage. The exam will be objective based and candidates will be allowed to try the paper for 2 hours. Each question will have a score of 0.5. For wrong answer, a penalty of 25% will be levied. The exam will be held offline on OMR paper.
