Another five quintals of waste collected, and another 70 volunteers work non-stop in the morning. This is the balance of the third and final day of “Clean Piacense” promoted by Editorial Libert, with the support of Legampient Piacense, Plastic Free Piacense and the municipality and with the help of Iron Ambiente.

This time the logistics area focused on the volunteers; Tires, bottles, leftovers from construction sites and many more at the end of the day should not be underestimated in the context of environmental culture as evidence of how complicated, unfortunately, disability and low environmental sensitivity can be. Not created yet.

In fact, an illegal landscape has formed on the railway tracks via Mardelli, which at one point falls into the path of Via Francigena. The most bitter discovery, however, confirms that these kinds of efforts can actually contribute to keeping the city cleaner and more caring.

For this reason, it has already been decided to continue this route, and further phases will be arranged for the next phase in the fall, which will also touch the suburbs. Satisfaction with taking a small, but basic step to try to reverse the dangerous trend, even after removing 21 tons of waste from roads and sidewalks and closing the first section.
