PowerToys released an update to version 0.47 in the evening for Windows 10. This update focuses primarily on stability updates and upgrades, installer updates, common bug fixes, and access improvements. Based on the community feedback, the popular option to activate the shortcut wizard by holding down the Windows key has been reintroduced. PowerToys now allows you to use various commands in PowerToys Run in a global English format or local translation. The trial version of PowerToys will be released in the 4th week of October, which includes improvements to the video conferencing mute application. Version 0.47 includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
- V0.47 Our goals for the Release Cycle are primarily focused on stability updates and upgrades, installer updates, common bug fixes, and access improvements.
- In particular, based on the social feedback received, Power Toys has reintroduced the highly requested ability to activate the shortcut wizard by holding the key. PowerToys now allows various commands in the PowerToys Run to be used in a global English vocabulary or computer-local translation. The excellent feedback provided by the community to continue to grow and improve PowerToys as a product is invaluable.
- A trial version of PowerToys (v0.48) will be released in the 4th week of October, which introduces improvements to our video conferencing mute application! All updates to the V0.47.0 release still apply to v0.48.
