PC Health Check Waves by Pentium 4

PC Health Check Waves by Pentium 4

From Andreas Link
The Pentium 4 shakes up when it comes to compatibility with Microsoft’s PC Health Check Windows 11 and there are even post-installation updates. This is probably a bug that can be fixed quickly, but it shows that the requirements are confusing.

There are official guidelines for Windows 11, which systems are supported and which are not. This can be confusing because the rules for upgrades are different than newer installations, and you can use log tricks to install the operating system on your system. Approximately, Windows 11 currently supports 8th generation core processors and 2nd generation Raison processors without any training. PC Health Check, which is really a guide for everyone who does not take the topic seriously, is confusing.

This had already caused some surprises in the PCGH editorial board, and now an image has appeared on the internet that shows that Pentium 4 is compatible with Windows 11. The 2007 model, the P4 661, may not be compatible in any way with the basic rules, but there is nothing in the installation way for the PC Health Check 3.6 GHz CPU. Only the missing TPM 2.0 module is being reviewed.

The bug is probably in the PC Health Check database, where the Pentium 4 is outside the expected values, so the tool suggests that the “Family 15” models are compatible with Windows 11. Eventually, however, there were reports that Windows 11 had been successfully installed on O4 systems and that Microsoft was offering updates. It is uncertain whether that will be the case. PC Health Check will probably be updated.
