    Nintendo has released a major switch update that upgrades the system firmware to version 11.0.0.

    A Nintendo Switch online icon is included in the home menu, you can now transfer screen shots to mobile devices and PCs, have the ability to select which game to download first if you have multiple downloads pending, additional language support and more.

    Many issues have been fixed and, of course, the overall usability and stability of the system has been improved. Full patch notes are below, courtesy Official Nintendo Support Page:

    Ed. 11.0.0 (Released November 30, 2020)

    Nintendo Switch added to online home menu.

    – Access all Nintendo Switch online services from receiving the latest information to verifying your membership status. * This feature Not available in some countries / regions.

    A new feature that automatically downloads saved data has been added to data storage.

    – Backup data from one console will be automatically downloaded to your other computer (s) when using software with the same Nintendo account connected to multiple computers.
    * To use this feature, it must be enabled under System Settings> Data Management> Data Cloud Saving.
    * Save data for that software will not be automatically downloaded unless it is stored on the console. For the first time, users have to manually download the stored data.
    * அ Nintendo Switch requires online membership To use the data cloud service.

    Added new trend feature on user page.

    – Users can check which software their friends are running or have recently started playing.
    Information set to their online status will not be shown to anyone.

    Users can now transfer screen shots and videos from the album to their smart devices.

    – Users can connect their smart devices wirelessly with the Nintendo Switch to convert screen shots and videos stored in their album.

    – For screen shots, users can convert a maximum of 10 screen shots and 1 video capture simultaneously.
    * To connect, users need to use their smart device to scan the QR code displayed on the Nintendo Switch screen.

    A new copy was added to the system via the USB connection feature under System Settings> Data Management> Manage Screen Shots and Videos.

    – Users can use the USB cable to connect the Nintendo Switch to their computers to copy screen shots and videos stored under the album.
    * A USB charging cable [model HAC-010] Or requires a USB-IF certified USB cable that supports data transfer to connect to the computer.

    * Connection via Nintendo Switch dock is not supported. Connect the Nintendo Switch system directly to the computer.

    Users can now choose which downloads to prioritize when multiple downloads are active.

    – When multiple software, data updates or downloadable content downloads are active, users can first select the one they want to download.

    – You can set this under Download Options by first selecting the icon for the software you want to download in the menu menu.

    – Added 12 user icons to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. series.

    Users can now name the preset button with maps Change button mapping feature.

    Brazilian Portuguese was added as a supporting language.

    – When users set their region to the United States and their language to Portuguese, the language used in the home menu and some software will be displayed in Brazilian Portuguese.

    Many issues have been fixed, and usability and stability have been improved.
