You may remember that Nintendo was the victim of a massive “Gigalik” last year. Large collection of company secrets, various source codes, unused assets, never-before-seen characters and more. We deliberately withdrew from reporting it at the time.
Now, more than a year on, new knowledge still seems to be gaining ground, and today we bring you a picture of some of the early designs of the Wii Remote. As recently released The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Wall HD Comes from the Wii era, so it fits well. The Forest of Illusion Twitter account is only concerned with “preserving Nintendo’s history.”
The designs differ significantly from the final version of the product. Some look like a classic TV remote in the upper half, and they are in lime green – the color Nintendo provided before the computer was released. Which design do you like the most? Write us in the comments!
