NX Studio – New Nikon software for convenient viewing and editing of images and videos

D டுsseldorf, March 04, 2021 – Nikon today announced the release of NX Studio (version 1.0). With this new software you can conveniently display, process and edit photos and videos. Nikon digital camera users can download the software for free from today.

Intuitive software integrates the functions of the current Nikon image viewing software VNX-I * and the capture of processing and editing software NX-D * so that users can view, process and edit images in one application.

NX Studio takes a variety of functions from VNX-I and Capture NX-D, e.g. B. Detail-related editing functions such as control-related configurations and exposure compensation for white balance systems and RAW data. The software includes color control points that users can use to adjust colors in a specific area, as well as a “read brush” function for detailed editing. The intuitive menu system is based on workflow. It speeds up the work of all operations and makes editing photos and videos easier.

Software allows users to transfer images to Nikon’s Nikon Image Space service, which is used to store and share images. The service is constantly updated to ensure compatibility with newer camera models.

• Various display options, e.g. B. Clear presentation of image strips and recording information with horizontal and vertical previews.
• Managing XMP / IPTC data editing functions and presets VNX, detail-related editing functions – including color control points – taken from NX-D capture.
• Compatibility with other software such as Nikon Transfer 2 and Camera Control Pro 2 for smoother post-processing.

* Support for current versions of View NX-I and Capture NX-D is not planned for updates to new operating systems and the introduction of new functionality. Customers currently using View NX-I and Capture NX-D are recommended to upgrade to NX Studio.
