Netflix makes it easy to watch on Android and does not download your entire series

Netflix has announced a new feature that will delight fans watching the smartphone.

You do not need to confirm that your episode is 100% downloaded to start the long viewing session on the train or plane. If you need a full download of your program to watch a movie or content offline before on Netflix, the SVOD service has raised this limit.

This feature, whose development was leaked last year, is used on Android, but will have to wait a while to land on iPhones. Netflix marks a test phase still underway on iOS, with a deployment expected in the coming months. It is now possible to start the download on your smartphone, even if you do not see 10 or 20%, you can start your episode directly.

Very practical feature, especially when your episode overseas cannot be downloaded on 4G. To finalize your download while viewing your phone, your phone must then connect to a standard network (WiFi connection from a restaurant or a public hotspot).

This is not the first improvement made by the site for mobile users. Netflix already offers smart downloads that download as you watch episodes of your series, then personalized downloads at the beginning of the year on Android.
