After months of rumors and retail lists, the EA finally lifted the lid Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. This remaster (based on Criterion’s 2010 release) is managed by Stellar Entertainment – previously responsible for Burnout Paradise Remastered.
The good news is that it has been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, but the trouble is that it is not coming until November 13th. It’s the week after the game was released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It costs $ 39.99 USD (or your regional equivalent).
This remaster includes cross-platform multiplayer, autolog (cross-platform synchronization) and all DLC. Digital size is 6.9 GB and according to the official NFS website, here is how the game runs on the Nintendo Switch:
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered has been upgraded with better visuals for today’s generation of hardware. The Nintendo Switch version runs in docked mode at 1080p / 30 FPS (720p / 30 FPS unlocked) and includes high-resolution models, longer objects and props, longer distances, higher resolution shadows and better videos.
