On Friday night, Microsoft announced an update with version number 90.0.818.46 for Microsoft Edge for Windows and MacOS, which includes the latest security updates for the Chromium program. Update only contains bug fixes and security improvements: In the new version, the most important security vulnerabilities are CVE-2021-21222, CVE-2021-21224, CVE-2021-21225 and CVE-2021-21226 are older versions of Microsoft Edge Added. Access to the details will be blocked until most users receive this update. The update for version 90.0.818.46 can now be downloaded and installed via the update function via the menu with three dots -> Help and Feedback -> Information about Microsoft Edge and via the official website. Depending on the standard channel, updates are released gradually in one or more days. Users who have installed an older version of the Edge will receive an update automatically. If you do not want to wait too long, you can start the update manually: Open Edge and click the button with the three dots in the upper right corner of the window -> Click Help and Feedback -> About Microsoft Edge -> When this dialog box opens, Edge searches for updates -> If you get an update, click Restart to activate it.
