Microsoft has released another unplanned update with version number 88.0.705.53 for Microsoft Edge for Windows and MacOS. With this update, Microsoft has fixed various bugs and performance issues. With the last major update, support for the old FTP protocol was removed from Edge. Attempting to go to an FTP connection prompts the operating system to open an external application to process the browser FTP connection. Additionally, Adobe Flash support has been removed.
