Overnight, Microsoft released another unplanned update with version number 95.0.1020.53 for Microsoft Edge for Windows, macOS and Linux. Update only contains bug fixes and improvements: with the latest update, security vulnerabilities CVE-2021-37997, CVE-2021-37998, CVE-2021-37999, CVE-2021-38000, CVE-2021-380 – 38002 and CVE-2021-38003 Closed on older versions of the Edge. For the standard channel, updates will be released gradually in one or more days. Users who have installed an older version of the Edge will receive an update automatically. If you do not want to wait too long, you can start the update manually: open the Edge, click the three-dot button in the upper right corner of the window> Help and Feedback, and then click on Microsoft Edge. This dialog box opens, Edge is looking for updates ›If an update is available, click Restart to run it. If required, the update can be downloaded from the official website.

Microsoft Edge for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2
Microsoft Edge will continue to be supported on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 until January 15, 2022. These operating systems are no longer supported, and Microsoft recommends switching to a supported operating system, such as Windows 10. While Edge may help improve security on the Internet, PCs may still be exposed to security risks.
