There seems to be some users having trouble with the Xbox Series X and the wireless controller. As On the edge Discovered, forums and Reddit are full of complaints that the controller simply loses the connection.
Truth be told, I have never encountered this problem and have not been able to experience it myself. Microsoft took note of it and released a statement: they want to fix it with an update soon.

It is not clear how many users have been affected and whether Series S is also affected. Microsoft must first get an overview to control the connection problem. Let’s see how long it will be now, but let’s keep an eye on Microsoft’s improvements.
