Meghan Markle called on fans to upload her birthday poem – but only 200 people posted it on Instagram in 24 hours.
Duchess of Sussex released a brilliant comedy video on the eve of her 40th birthday – and there launched a new initiative called 40 × 40.
The Duchess is asking celebrities and the general public, such as Adele and Stella McCartney, to donate their time to “help women re-enter the workplace.”
Also in a post on his Archive website, he asked his fans for a birthday present – to share a ready-made Instagram post with the hashtags # 40 × 40 and #CompassionInAction.

The website also suggested that people use the phrase, “To celebrate the Duchess of Sussex’s 40th birthday, I dedicate 40 minutes of guidance or service to a cause close to my heart.
“Please join me in volunteering your time. Together, we can contribute to global compassion and positive change.”
However, The Sun analyzed Instagram posts within 24 hours of the online video release and only 217 public posts shared the poem designed by Megan using the 40 × 40 hashtag.
It does not include Twitter posts or private Instagram shares or stories that have already disappeared.
Megan explained the new venture in a post on her website: “Looking back on my 40th birthday, I am so grateful that I was shocked that that moment was one of our most important gifts.
“Time with our loved ones, time to do the things we love, time to learn, laugh, time to grow and the sacred time we have on this earth.
“One of the most precious gifts of time is the time to serve others, knowing that it can make an incredible difference.
“At that last point, with my 40th lap around the sun in mind, it amazed me: Do we all spend 40 minutes helping someone or guiding one another? If necessary?”
“Then what if we tell our friends to do the same?” “
She added in the video: “More than two million women in the United States and millions of women around the world have lost their jobs because of Govt.
“I think if we all do that and we’ll all be involved in some kind of service activity, we can have some kind of ripple effect.”
Megan asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to attend.
Singer Adele, poet Amanda Gorman, Sophie Gregory Trudeau, wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and fashion designer Stella McCartney were among those who dedicated 40 minutes to guiding a woman in their community.
Megan added: “I think mentoring is a way for women to regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength.
“At this point, I hope each of them will help them progress on their own in their professional careers, and I hope they will encourage countless others to give up 40 minutes of their time.”
